SALON SAFETY PROTOCOLS, PROCEDURES, & POLICIES
A COVID~19 GUIDE FOR OUR AMAZING CLIENTS
The information below is a guide for what a health & safety~conscious session at B+R looks like in the midst of Covid~19. Please reach out to our salon’s Customer Care line at 734.234.6282 if you have any additional questions for us!
HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT OUR SALON IN THESE CRAZY TIMES:
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
🌸 First and foremost, please make sure you are symptom~free! Symptoms include coughing, difficulty breathing, fever, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or symptoms of any kind!
🌸 Please contact us via phone to reschedule {call or text 734.234.6282} if you are sick with ANY symptoms at all.
🌸 Please do not bring additional guests. This means no children, friends, spouses, significant others, etc.
🌸 Please bring your own water bottle if you'll need to hydrate. Our coffee bar AND water cooler are off limits until further notice, per State of Michigan Guidelines.
🌸 If you plan to WFH, or should we say “WFS” {Work From Salon}, please bring your own chargers and cables for all your devices. We will supply the complimentary Wifi!
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
🌸 Upon arrival for your scheduled appointment, please wait in your car. Text us at 734.234.6282 to check in. We will respond and come to the front door to let you know we are ready for you!
🌸 Masks are required to be worn at all times. By us, by you, by everyone!
🌸 Please expect that your temperature will be taken at the front door.
🌸 As much as we love hugs, no~contact greetings are what we're working with. This means a wave, thumbs up, air five, etc. A wink is acceptable if you're feeling sassy.
WHILE YOU’RE HERE
🌸 Masks are required to be worn at all times. By us, by you, by everyone! Our team will also be wearing disposable gloves as often as possible.
🌸 All salon stations are placed at least 6 feet apart to be socially distanced and as safe as possible for clients and team members.
🌸 There is hand sanitizer at every salon station for your convenience. In our restroom, we have hand soap as well as sanitizer. We recommend washing and drying your hands, and then using our hand sanitizer to be extra safe.
🌸 We have a HEPA~13 air purifier that will be filtering and purifying the air throughout our entire session.
🌸 We have closed down our Coffee Bar and Water Cooler per State Mandates to prevent the risk of contamination.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
🌸 We book out an additional 30 minutes between every appointment throughout the day in order to clean and prep the space for the next client.
🌸 All Stations, Cabinets, Shampoo Bowls, Chairs, Tools, etc used in a service are sanitized fully with hospital grade disinfectant between each appointment.
🌸 All capes and towels are immediately placed in a disinfectable bin, and are then removed from the salon daily, double~washed, heat cleansed, and placed in “linen quarantine” for two weeks before being returned to the salon for use.
🌸 All trash bags are replaced, and all trash is removed from the salon daily to prevent contamination.
